Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Are you a highly skilled engineer with knowledge and experience in high volume manufacturing looking for an opportunity to work with the latest equipment in a modern manufacturing environment?

As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will:

- Work a panama shift allowing every other weekend off in a team of highly skilled engineers.
- Undertake PPM work as well as faulting finding, attending breakdowns and working on improvement projects.
- Work with specialist and highly automated equipment, in a clean, high speed modern environment, producing high volume products
- Undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance working with PLC controlled equipment, pneumatic and hydraulics
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Install and commission new equipment and production lines
- Carry out checks and inspection of plant, machinery, and equipment, maximise machine utilisation, decrease cycle times, working closely with the production team.
- Gain a wide, in depth knowledge of the current production facility, equipment and processes

You will be:

- Apprentice trained and qualified with an electrical bias and confident understanding of mechanical equipment
- Driven, dynamic and a great problem solver
- Ideally have worked within the FMCG market or similar previously
- Knowledge of PLC fault finding and repair, any programming skills would be of great interest
- Keen to progress learn new skills and be passionate about engineering
- Panama shift pattern
- 33 days per year holiday
