.NET Developer

Our client, a global insurance organisation, is looking to recruit the services of an experienced.Net Developer on a permanent basis. As a Software Engineer you will be part of cross functional delivery team. Operating within an Agile/DevOps culture youwill be involved at all stages of the development life cycle, through requirements analysis, design, coding, unit & system testing, UAT and support/maintenance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure designs are modelled logically, consistently and intuitively, ensuring that they perform optimally within agreed tolerances.
- Peer review of code from development team members and third-party providers, with a focus on maintainability, performance & security.
- Consideration to User Experience; understanding how technology can help the user to successfully complete a task.
- Working with DevOps and Delivery Managers to provide active management of the continuous integration/continuous deployment processes through Azure DevOps.
- Showcasing of product increments to the wider team and stakeholders
Required Experience:
- Experience across a broad technology stack - for example Angular, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#,.NET Core, SQL or similar
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Deployment concepts and processes
- Azure development experience
- Ability to work with stakeholders without direct supervision
- Organised and methodical
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to interpret business conversations and translate them into solutions
- Experience of working in an agile environment
