**Position**:Lord/Lady of Sales (Sales Representative & Event Supervisor)**

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

**Location**: Lympne Castle, Hythe

**Job description**: This position will be responsible for selling weddings and events at Lympne Castle. Attending and supervising events and weddings is also required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responding to inquiries and providing in person presentation of the castle and grounds to interested parties;
- Reviewing contracts and finalizing event details with clients.
- Take initiatives and coordinate with the Events and Operations Team and Marketing Team to generate leads;
- Follow up on leads including through social media and internet enquiries
- Drive positive word-of-mouth referral outcomes.
- Act as main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication at all times;
- Supervising and leading the Front of House team for set-up and during weddings and events and attending where necessary.

This is a 7-day /week hospitality operation. As such, weekend and evening work will be required.

**To be considered, the following criteria need to be met**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and/or event operations, preferably in the wedding or event industry
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Solutions-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects/events
- Experience with event management software and Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
