**Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant**
**; Permanent**
**Working hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 17:00 - 37.5 hours per week**
**Location: Vicon House Bury St Edmunds**
**Reporting to**: Senior Management Accountant C&I
**Purpose of role**
To assist in the production of financial results for Food Co on a monthly basis. The main focus being the completion of contract accounts for operations. Completion of assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
**Main Duties**:
- Contract account reviews and result production.
- Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Processing of accruals and prepayments as informed by operational teams in line with financial processes and principles.
- Building relationships with other finance team members.
- Support in collation of sector results as contracts are completed.
- Support sales ledger team with income allocation and billing details when required.
- Assisting with audit queries and ensuring accurate working papers to support postings made.
**Key relations**:
- Operational managers.
- Purchase ledger team.
- Systems team.
- Sales ledger team.
- Business Partners.
**Key Skills**:
- Planning and diary management skills.
- Understanding of managing own workload and priorities for deadlines.
- Understanding of catering operations to help improve data processing.
- Analytical skills to investigate variances and cost trends.
- Strong excel skills including the use of formula and pivot tables using multi system source data tables.
- The role will not be available until 1st October at present.
