**Purchase Ledger Clerk / Admin Assistant**

Your primary role will be to assist the Finance and Production Administrators by processing supplier invoices using Sage 200, answering calls, and liaising with suppliers as required.

Your remit will include learning the basics of the other roles within the office, to help maintain cover during periods of absence.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Matching purchase orders to delivery notes & invoices
- Generate payment supplier runs to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner
- Liaising with suppliers & dealing with queries in a timely manner
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Purchasing and stock control of raw materials, pallets, ancillary items, PPE, Staff uniforms and stationary
- Carrying out daily data entry activities, as well as other admin tasks
- Completing Commercial Packing Lists
- Dealing with posting and recording samples being issued to customers
- Monitoring temporary staff timesheets
- Cover for production admin, finance admin in periods of absence
- Opening post & distributing as required
- Filing and other duties to assist

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
- Knowledge of Sage 200 is essential
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Accuracy & attention to detail
- Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
