Senior Administrator

Our client who is based within the Public Sector has a temporary role for a Senior Administrator, to work as part of a small team, providing administrative support for all aspects of corporate governance and compliance. The role involves frequent interactionwith members of the Board, and members of Senior Leadership Group.
This role is within Glasgow City Centre, and will be working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with a pay rate of £11.88 per hour. This role is for approx. 3 months initially with a possible extension.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support/diary management for the Chair of the Board of Governors.
- Assist the Senior Policy Officers with arrangements for Board and Board Committee meetings
- Assist with the coordination of committee papers in line with the relevant paper deadlines, in consultation with the relevant Senior Officers.
- Coordinate arrangements related to the booking of training, travel, and hotel accommodation for individual members of the Board of Governors.
- Coordinate arrangements for goods and services for the Corporate Governance Office, engaging with Finance and Procurement
- Enable the prompt processing and payment of governor expenses linking as required with the Senior Policy Officers and Academic Registrar.
- Maintenance of the online survey, monitoring of response rates, and scheduling individual meetings with governors.
- Maintaining the website.
- Undertake preparation of both physical and electronic induction packs
- Provide Administration support in relation to Equality Impact Assessments to ensure continued compliance
**Knowledge/Qualifications**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A methodical approach to the completion of tasks, prioritising workload effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and to prioritise competing
- Ability to work discretely and confidentially with sensitive data, and in line with current data protection legislation.
- Ability to consult productively with stakeholders.
- A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Word and Excel, and an ability to learn new software if required
