Since formally launching in the UKin May 2019, they have quickly established a strong and diverse portfolio of UK Aid-funded programmes, in the UK they have a team of 65 employees however are growing fast.

The Business Conduct and Safeguarding Senior Specialist will support the design and implementation of their Safeguarding program, in close coordination with their US-based Safeguarding Program Senior Advisor and Ethics and Compliance Division. With overallresponsibility for implementing & monitoring effective policies, mechanisms, systems, and processes to prevent and respond to all safeguarding issues and ensuring prioritisation of the safety & security for the UK Division. You will work to promote preventionand response approaches and activities for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults that are impacted by their work, as well as for their own employees.

You’ll have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. In addition, you will also:

- Manage and support business conduct and safeguarding investigations from investigation through resolution stages, as needed and in coordination with US-based Office of Business Conduct.
- Responds to ethics and compliance questions and inquiries from staff worldwide supporting UK programmes.
- Analyse metrics and trends on closed cases and provide as-needed reports for Executives to support their business ethics and awareness program.
- Engage in corporate safeguarding working group(s) to address all aspects of safeguarding, including participation in sub-working groups by topic area (i.e., Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse [PSEA], anti-trafficking, child safeguarding, etc.)and initiatives (i.e., training and communication, ensuring staff and beneficiaries are aware of feedback mechanisms and that such mechanisms are operational, investigations, etc.).
- Develop and delivers the UK Division training programmes for standards of business conduct and safeguarding, as aligned with corporate training requirements.
- Manage UK-specific elements of their corporate safeguarding program, including metrics and measurements for success, reporting and accountability.
- Work collaboratively to establish safeguarding risk assessments and develop criteria for requirements of conducting these assessments for the UK Division and UK programmes.
- Participate in (at a corporate level) and lead their UK programmes, strategy design for mainstreaming protection and safeguarding protocols, minimum standards, and best practices across the UK Division and for programmes as needed.
- Implement a safeguarding internal and external communication and branding strategy, including events, blogs, and contributions to external web presence for their UK Division.
- Analyse trends in the case management and online training systems; prepares reports for dissemination.
- Promote change management initiatives across the company to promote respectful, inclusive, and safe environments within the workplace.

Key skills and experience required:
The successful will work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment to partner with different teams and business units. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) ideally in business management, international development, and/orrelations or equivalent work experience. Other skills and experience required include:

- Ability to travel and work abroad approximately 3 months per year; willingness to consider long-term overseas assignments.
- Experience designing and implementing safeguarding programmes or those related to Gender Based Violence prevention and response, protection of vulnerable populations, child safeguarding, anti-trafficking programs, sexual exploitation and abuse preventionand response or related fields.
- Knowledge of company’s main clients required, specifically the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), preferably in relation to safeguarding, protection, and business conduct.
- Experience collaborating with diverse donor organisations, such as, Global Fund, UK Government, World Bank, and the United Nations.
- Ability to analyse and support analysis of business processes and develop policies and procedures based on analysis.
- Ability to support and/or manage external relationships, including support vendors, banks and other financial institutions, and partner/consortium organisations.
- Fluency in spoken and written English required; fluency in foreign language of geographic areas where their operates is preferred.
