**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Replace or fabricate machine parts as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Assist in equipment installation and modifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operators and other staff.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Proven experience as a **Machine Plant Fitter** or similar role.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driving license (if required for site visits).

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Apprenticeship in mechanical fitting/plant maintenance (preferred).
- CSCS card or equivalent (desirable).

**Working Conditions**:

- Workshop and on-site work as required.
- May involve working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Some weekend or overtime work may be necessary.
