**Spencer Clarke Group **are working closely with **Warrington Council **to provide them with a **Team Manager** to join their **Children With Disabilities Service.**
**3-6 months agency contract** which is likely to be extended on an ongoing basis.
**Full Time Position.**
**Location - Warrington, WA1 2NT.**
**About the Role;**
- Be responsible for the day to day management of a specialist team within the Adult Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Division, through effective leadership, organisation and assurance of safeguarding practice.
- Ensure the Council delivers its statutory duties with regard to safeguarding adults, utilising the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal. This includes management of the statutory safeguarding process, maintaining a central overview of safeguardingactivity including system and performance data and linking effectively to safeguarding leads in other agencies, Cheshire Police PPU and the SAB to offer advice, lead and delegate enquiries and where required challenge, or audit practice.
- Undertake audits and reviews of safeguarding activity and implement actions assigned to the Local Authority from safeguarding or other reviews (SAR, DHR, s42 enquires)
- Chair multi-agency safeguarding meetings.
- Oversee of complex safeguarding enquires and to ensure effective and consistent practice in line with published procedures.
- With the Quality Assurance and Improvement Manager, they will be responsible for ensuring there is a fit for purpose screening arrangement within the team to triage concerns that relate to care providers and identifying the appropriate response or pathway;and to ensure effective and consistent practice in line with published procedures.
- Create an environment which enables excellent safeguarding and quality improvement practice to flourish by setting high standards, leading by example and being accessible to other colleagues.
- Ensure the Council is represented at relevant multi-agency forums, such as MARAC, Channel, Anti-Stalking Clinic, Modern Slavery Network.
**Job Requirements;**
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS & Barred list check.
- Registered Social Work England / HCPC,
