We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a recreation assistant at our community sports centre in Wotton-under-Edge. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of indoor and outdoor sporting facilities that are focused on providing our community with high-quality sports and fitness experiences.

At our sports centre, we believe that our people are our most valuable asset, and that's why we will provide you with all the necessary training and support to help you excel in your role. You'll have the chance to work alongside our friendly team of recreation assistants and interact with our loyal customers.

The role will involve managing reception and facilities during weekday evenings, with voluntary overtime hours available at weekend. Core contracted hours and working pattern can be negotiated based on your availability.

You'll have good customer service skills, be IT literate and have a can-do attitude. An interest in sport and fitness is desirable, as is experience with cash handling. A first aid qualification is also highly desirable. You will also need to be a proactive problem solver and happy to work on site independently.

Duties include: Providing excellent customer service, managing bookings, setting up and packing away equipment, general admin tasks and light cleaning.

Applicants must be 16 years or older and be able to travel to the sports centre

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 9 per week

**Salary**: £9.81-£10.42 per hour
