Are you a passionate Multi Skilled Engineer, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Peterborough working as part of their Engineering team.

Principle Responsibilities for the Multi Skilled Engineer:

- Optimising manufacturing functions
- Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective working of factory equipment to minimise downtime.
- Operation of the site PPM system ensuring that PPM activities are completed and recorded.
- Improving machinery performance
- Nurturing a high-performance workforce
- Cost reduction/lean manufacturing/continuous improvement programmes
- Improving safety and wellbeing
- To be an ambassador for Burgess Farms (Produce World Group)
- Delivery of departments KPI's and own PDR objectives
- Audit ready at all times

Person specification:

- Mechanical and electrical experience
- Food production experience
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- City and Guilds/ONC/NVQ3 or equivalent
- Basic understanding of Microsoft office programmes such as word, excel and outlook
- Strong numeracy levels
- Good English (spoken and written)
- Team Player
- Ability to work well on your own as well as in a team
- Shows initiative in all aspects
- Confidently able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Positive and proactive mindset
- PLC knowledge
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Welding
- 18th edition knowledge
- IOSH

This is a full time permanent Multi Skilled Engineer position, Tuesday - Friday, 18:00pm - 05:00am offering an annual salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount schemeon all company products and free car parking.
