Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience managing and supporting young learners with **challenging or oppositional behaviour**? Maybe you have previously worked within **Youth Intervention, Criminal Justice, Education or Youth Group**s? If you would like to make a difference to a child's education and support them to achieve their goals in school, we would love to hear from you We are looking for **a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant** to support class teachers in SEN schools and Pupil Referral Units. The role of the Challenging Behaviour TA is essential - you will be a confident, experienced, and resilientperson willing to challenge yourself and help young learners grow to their full potential. You will be comfortable supporting young learners both inside and outside of the classroom, and able to use your own initiative to overcome obstacles. There are no specific qualifications required for this post, but we would love to hear from you if you have the following: - Experience working with children or adults with challenging behaviour; - Knowledge of how to support vulnerable learners from disadvantaged backgrounds; - A "growth mindset" - willing and able to see the potential in all learners; - Sound understanding of Safeguarding children and young adults. It would be advantageous if you have previously supported children or adults with ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, EBD and children with Foster Care experience. **Alternatively, if this role is not for you but you know someone who would be a great addition to an SEN school, please contact us on the details above.
