E-learning Designer

OVERALL SUMMARY

Join Close Brothers Premium Finance Team where you will design and develop learning and practicing experiences for our partner Brokers. Using Articulate and other authoring/design tools, to create new and manage existing E-Learning courses/training materials to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner. Working as part of the Premium Finance team our ideal team member will have previous experience in developing blended learning and e-learning solutions with strong attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer on our products, processes, and system

Creating effective and engaging learning solutions such as e-learning modules, simulations, and assessment demos by using storyboarding and other instructional design techniques.

Create vision aid’s/hand-outs to leave with brokers after they have completed their online training courses

Creating custom images and animations using graphic design software

Take a leading role in performing research work and establishing new content, research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this

Show initiative and be able to develop eLearning ideas/new materials pro-actively

Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessments, test of knowledges and quizzes to help bridge any gaps in our brokers knowledge

Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts, work with our E-Learning Consultant to ensure current and new courses are fit for purpose

Work closely with our E-Learning Consultant and trainers to solve specific training problems by recommending eLearning solutions and creating new material if required

Ensuring that statutory/regulatory training requirements are met

Maintain excellent knowledge of premium finance products, keeping up to date with any changes by attending relevant meetings/projects to ensure all materials are relevant and up to date

Test new releases i.e. products and systems. Create new materials to help trainers deliver the new changes, and, to support projects with materials that can be included in our broker communications

To give monthly reviews on current training materials to ensure they are always accurate, up to date and fit for purpose, share any updates with team and relevant stakeholders

Identifying training and development needs with our Brokers through job analysis, trends in data, working closely with Sales Managers and broker facing teams within CBPF

**WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE**:
Qualification/certificate in Blended Learning/E-Learning Design

Experience in authoring tools such as Adobe captivate or Articulate

Experience in developing blended learning and e-learning solutions

2 years’ experience in E-Learning instructional design

Previous Learning & Development type role

Strong knowledge of Premium Finance business is desirable

Preferably knowledge on products and i-prompt

Extensive knowledge of eLearning

Working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools including Articulate

Knowledge of editing tools such as adobe captivate, Articulate, SnagIt

Ability to learn new things quickly

Confident

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong attention to detail

Understanding the training cycle is desirable

Strong technical and creative design knowledge

Ability to handle multiple t asks simultaneously, and meet assigned deadlines

Microsoft office skills

Strong visual design skills

Interpersonal skills

Ability to produce market leading training materials

Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly assimilate information

Ability to be creative within tight time constraints

Must be able to work hours the business dictates.
