**Role Overview**:
Reporting into the Divisional SHE Manager, you will play a key role in delivering H&S strategy across a large, fast-paced food manufacturing businessed.

The site employs over 1,000 people and produces a wide range of premium ready meals for major retailers.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Working collaboratively with managers and colleagues across the site to promote and embed a 'safety first' culture
- Regularly conducting H&S inspections, audits, and factory tours
- Delivering H&S training, coordintaing HSE committe meetings, and ensuring relevant date is collated and circulated to relevant stakeholders
- Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Reviewing health & safety statistics, identifying trends, working towards targets, and putting correcitve measures in place as required

**About you**:

- Prior experience of working in a site based H&S role, preferably in manufacturing
- NEBOSH qualifications preferred, but not essential
- Demonstrable experience of improving health & safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence and challenge colleagues at all levels
- Able to collate, interpret and analyse data to identify trends and propose suitable solutions to ongoing challenges
- Good IT skills - MS Office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Newport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
