The Navigation team is responsible for the management of Company navigation information, providing a safe operation that is compliant with all regulations, while delivering the most cost-efficient and OTP focused flight operations. We are recruiting for a Head of Navigation Delivery to join our team at easyJet. Reporting to the Director of Air Traffic Management Strategy and Delivery, this role will be responsible for the Flight Planning and Navigation teams. As a Group Operation Services role, you will provide oversight of the day-to-day delivery of flight planning and navigation support services. The Head of Navigation Delivery is responsible for the delivery of Flight Planning and Navigation services for all AOCs (Airline Operators Committee), within the easyJet Group. You will ensure compliance with audit and safety requirements, manage staff resourcing and recruitment, and be the primary point of contact between easyJet and ANSPs (air navigation service providers) for all operational ATFM (Air Traffic Flow Management) matters. Additionally, you will lead a team to deliver optimal navigational performance, develop departmental KPIs (key performance indicators), and identify cost efficiency initiatives. The Head of Navigation Delivery will also represent the department in safety-related consultations and influence schedule and network operations management with Navigation inputs. **Requirements of the Role** **What you need to do this role** You will have proven management experience in an airline operations environment. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you must possess a good working knowledge of the EZY OM/A, ability to work in a team that strives for continuous improvement, and a high degree of personal/professional flexibility. Excellent knowledge of airspace structure/rules/navigational matters and documentation, experience within an airline Fleet Control/Flight Watch environment, and experience of flight planning within a complex/large-scale operational environment are also required.
