We’re looking for enthusiastic university students or casual coaches to join our team and deliver fun, inclusive football sessions for kids of all abilities. At Will Ferry Soccer School, our motto is "Football for All," and we’re committed to creating a welcoming environment where every child can enjoy the beautiful game. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Inclusive Coaching**: - Plan and deliver age-appropriate, inclusive football sessions for children aged [3 - 11 year olds]. - Adapt coaching methods to accommodate players of varying skill levels and abilities. - **Promoting “Football for All”**: - Foster a positive environment that reflects the club’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities. - Encourage participation, teamwork, and mutual respect among players. - **Player Development**: - Teach fundamental football skills in a fun and engaging manner. - Focus on building confidence, coordination, and a love for the game. - **Building Relationships**: - Act as a positive role model both on and off the pitch. - **Safety and Well-Being**: - Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during training and matches. - Uphold safeguarding practices and report any concerns in line with club policies. - **Program Support**: - Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance program delivery. **Qualifications**: - Passion for working with children and promoting inclusivity in sports. - Knowledge of football techniques, drills, and game rules. - Coaching certifications (e.g., FA Level 1/2 or equivalent) or willingness to obtain one - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Valid safeguarding Certificate and DBS check (we can provide these if applicant is successful) - First Aid **Preferred Skills** - Experience coaching children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities or additional needs. - Creative approach to designing fun, engaging training sessions. - Ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in young players. - previous experience in football coaching is highly desirable. **Job Type**: Part-time Pay: £12.00-£18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 2 per week **Benefits**: - On-site parking Schedule: - Every weekend - Weekends only **Language**: - English (required) Work Location: In person Reference ID: Football Coach
