An exciting opportunity has arisen for a keen, enthusiastic individual to provide support to the waste management service, on a permanent basis.

**Our Service**

**The role**

As our Waste Contract Assistant, you will work closely with service staff and contractors to maintain and improve existing waste recycling and disposal services. You will also be involved with infrastructure and asset management, safety audits, data and performance management, delivery of services, preparation of works orders and purchase of equipment. You will have a confident and diplomatic personality enabling you to engage with a range of customers, contractors and colleagues. Ideally we are seeking to fill the post on a full time basis (37 hours per week), but we are happy to consider applicants who would prefer part time hours.

This is also an ideal role for someone who has a background or an interest in Science but does not hold a science qualification.
