**Residential Support Worker (Children and Young People)**

Prospero Health & Social Care are currently recruiting Residential Support Workers to support a range of services in Wiltshire. This role offers the opportunity to support an incredibly valuable service covering with days and nights available.

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Support Worker to join a leading Care agency supporting settings for children and young people with complex needs including emotional and behavioural challenges.

This role will include supporting children with learning disabilities and emotional and behavioural issues. Your duties will include general support, 1:1 support, support in the community and helping the young people live a fun and fulfilling life.

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience and a passion to work in the care sector.

**Support Worker Contract/Position Details**:

- Location - Wiltshire
- Position - Agency Support Worker
- Type of work - Supporting Adults and Young People
- Start date - ASAP
- Likely Duration - Ongoing agency cover
- Position end date - Ongoing
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full-time potential
- Minimum rate of pay - £12.31ph
- Maximum rate of pay - £14ph
- Hours - Day shifts, Night Shifts, Weekend Shifts, Evening shifts

**Support worker Experience, Training and Qualifications**:

- Experience in a support work/care environment
- Up-to-date mandatory training - Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Prevention, Equality and Diversity, Autism training (all can be completed free with Prospero)
- Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Health and Social Care if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
- Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 (desirable but not essential)

**To be eligible for any support work with Prospero Health and Social Care you must**:

- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Provide two professional care related references.

**Other**:

- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and other mandatory training
