We're looking for a Supervisor to join our team in our busy Inverness store.

This is your chance to take your retail career to the next level, or to transfer your customer service skills and experience to a dynamic retail environment.

As our Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the store. You'll develop valuable management skills and lead by example in delivering an exceptional customer experience for our loyal customer following.

Begg Shoes was founded in 1866 but is successfully adapting to modern retail, with a fantastic in-store customer experience working alongside a leading footwear e-commerce website - supporting the long term success of the business in Inverness.

**Key Responsibilities: Supervisor**

**Excellent Customer Experiences **- Leading from the front, the Supervisor will set the standard for customer service alongside the store manager. The role will be supported by training, including both formal and on the job, with a major focus on customer experiences.

**Share Product Knowledge** - Become the trusted expert, know your product. Will demonstrate a high level of product knowledge, gained through training and experience. Both internal and external training will support development in this area.

**Champion Store Performance** - Help to motivate the team to regularly achieve or beat sales targets, setting and achieving a high standard personally.

**Problem Solving** - take a proactive role in shaping future success. As the business continues to evolve, the Supvisor will assist the Manager and Directors in developing the best possible systems and processes.

**Support Store Operations**
- Stock Handling: Handle stock arrivals, transfers, sales, and refunds efficiently to maximise accuracy.
- Websales Fulfilment: Fulfil websales promptly and accurately, proactively addressing any customer issues.
- Customer Feedback: Support the store manager in resolving customer issues for optimal business and customer outcomes.
- Stock Control: Maintain high standards of storage and stock checking for smooth store operation.
- Keyholder: Manage store opening/closing, banking, and adapt tasks for solo operation to uphold customer experience.
- Security: Remain vigilant against store theft risks.
- HSE Management: Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Payroll: Finalise monthly payroll in the absence of the manager.
- Marketing: Promote the store through visual merchandising, business development, social media, and events.
- Store Housekeeping: Maintain high cleanliness standards in customer and staff areas.
- Flexible Support: Assist in other areas for the benefit of the business.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
