We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Team Leader to join us on the Pearson’s contract based in Birmingham. You’ll work Monday till Friday, 8am - 4pm with some flexibility required.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £11.85 per hour. In addition, we offer 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Leading, managing and developing a team of 6 team members across 3 departments
- Overseeing daily logistics processes with a focus on goods in and returns
- Liaising with external and internal customers
- Developing and improving an existing process
**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- Firm understanding of general warehouse practices and operations with a focus on inbound and returns
- True leadership skills with previous experience as a Team Leader or similar position
- Strong PC skills including creation and interrogation of spreadsheets
- Energy and motivation to succeed every day
