K Packaging Ltd are looking to recruit a motivated and knowledgeable Accounts Assistant to join our team.

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for working within a fast paced, demanding environment, providing support to a team, covering all areas of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

The successful applicant must have experience in a credit control role and have a good working knowledge of Sage 50 or similar as our system is similar to Sage 50. You must be confident in the use of Microsoft Office and should be able to work using your own initiative. A confident and professional telephone manner is essential as you will be dealing with customers & suppliers over the phone daily.

**Duties of the Accounts Assistant will include, but are not limited to**:

- Processing purchase invoices
- Dealing with sales invoice queries
- Dealing with purchase invoice queries
- Raising accurate sales invoices & produce back orders.
- Monitoring outstanding company debt
- Chasing outstanding company debt
- Allocating cash payments
- Daily communication with the General Manager & Managing Director
- General Admin & Ad hoc tasks as required

**Person Specification**
- Ability to work efficiently in demanding environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office & Excel
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Previous experience working in an office environment: Minimum 3 Years (required)
- AAT qualification - Preferable but not essential

Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:00am-3:30pm with 30 minutes lunch daily.
