**Job Title: Microbiology Training Officer (Part TIme - 8 hours per week)**

**Location: Royal Free Hospital, NW3 2QG**
- The Sonic Training Academy is shaping the future of Biomedical Science. Our brand-new training academy has a state-of-the-art training laboratory at the Royal Free Hospital, where practical training sessions, workshops and seminars are delivered to students and the wider business.- We are looking for a HCPC registered, Microbiology training officer, working 8 hours per week, to support in the creation and delivery of training sessions for the academy, and the learning and development needs of the wider business. The successful post holder will also be supporting in the marking and mentoring of IBMS registration and specialist portfolios.- A fantastic opportunity for growing skills within training, learning and development.**The essential criteria are**:

- You are HCPC registered and we ask you to include your registration number on your CV.
- You have worked as and are fully qualified as a Biomedical Scientist
- You have the specific discipline of working in Microbiology.
- You have a passion for Training and sharing your knowledge and have experience in this area.

**_About the role:_**
- We are advertising for a newly created part time, 0.2 FTE (8hours), Microbiology Training Officer, to support with the newly formed Sonic Training Academy. This role will report to the Training Academy Manager and will be based at the Royal Free Hospital and remotely from home. Ideally, we would have you **work 1 day a week** but are open to people working 2 half days a week.- The successful post holder will be responsible for the creation and delivery of biochemistry practical training sessions, workshops, and seminars. The post holder will also be supporting with completion of the IBMS registration portfolios and mentoring students.-
- The role is based at the Royal Free Hospital serviced by various commuter links including: Hampstead Heath Rail (4 minute walk), Besize Park (15 minute walk), and Gospel Oak, (17 minute walk).**About us**:
