ole Overview

We are looking for an experienced **Fire Door Inspector & Installer** with **BM Trada certification** to join our team. You will conduct inspections, installations and remedial works on fire doors and associated fittings, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fire door inspections and surveys in line with BM Trada Q-Mark requirements.
- Install fire doors, ironmongery, and associated components to the correct specification.
- Undertake remedial adjustments, repairs or replacements to fire door sets as required.
- Generate accurate reports post-inspection, outlining non-compliances and recommendations.
- Ensure all work is compliant with BS 8214, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and other relevant statutory standards.
- Maintain safety, housekeeping, and quality standards on all sites.
- Liaise with site managers, clients, building control, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

**Essential**:

- BM Trada Q-Mark Fire Door Inspector / Installer accreditation (or equivalent).
- Solid experience in inspecting, installing, and maintaining fire doors.
- Good working knowledge of fire safety legislation, British Standards (e.g. BS 8214).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail, good communications and reporting skills.

**Desirable**:

- Carpentry / Joinery qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds).
- Experience in passive fire protection beyond doors (e.g. fire stopping, sealants).
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent.
