Weekend Dog Walker

**Are you someone who would love to spend some time on their weekends greeted by waggy tails and covered in slobbery kisses whilst being paid for it?**

**The role**
You’ll be responsible for assisting our Award-Winning Dog Walking team with walking requests on the **weekends.**

We're looking for dog lovers who will pride themselves on providing first class customer service and building quality relationships with our customers whilst being an ambassador for the Simply the Pets.

This role is truly flexible and offers of jobs will vary from week to week depending on client requests. This may mean a 121 walk, a small group 1hr walk (max 4 dogs) or a 30 minute visit. Hours _tend_ to be around the lunchtime period (12-3pm)

This is a self-employed contractor role and as such offers of jobs will be put forward to you to accept.

£12 per dog (1hr walk)
£8.00 per 30 minute visit/ walk

**About You**

You’ll need:

- A confident, composed approach to walking dogs
- An out of the box thinking mentality, to deal with potential problems appropriately and to provide our clients with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- You love and enjoy the outdoors - our dogs need a walk whatever the weather so if the idea of being out in the cold, wet, hot or strong winds sounds like your idea of hell this is probably not the job for you
- You live near: Purley, Kenley, Caterham, South Croydon, Coulsdon, Warlingham or Sanderstead

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license & vehicle to transport dogs
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in animal care
- Ability to lift dogs
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
