**Vickerstock** are working in partnership with a growing distribution business on the appointment of a **Warehouse System Lead**. Our client is currently in the middle of expanding their warehouse operations and are in the process of implementing a brand-new WMS. The successful applicant will have previous experience in assisting with the implementation of new Warehouse Systems/MRPs.

As the **Warehouse Systems Lead** you will manage and optimise all aspects of stock control and administration, ensuring that Warehouse Management (WMS) is aligned with other company IT systems to make the transition as seamless and possible to aid the next stage of growth.

**Duties will include**:

- Set up and implement new Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) alongside Project Manager and other senior members of management.
- Encourage cross-functional work on system configuration and operational processes for the new warehouse.
- Oversee and manage inventory processes, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Responsible for regular stock takes, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders to aid decision-making.
- Be the primary WMS super-user and provide guidance and training when required.
- Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements.
- Act as a bridge between operations and technical teams, translating operational requirements into system solutions.
- Ensure that there is full compliance with with SOPs
- Document and communicate system and process changes effectively across all levels of the organisation.

- Previous experience of WMS implementation or similar.
- Strong education related IT, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- Strong management skills

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
