**About The Role**:
**About the Role**:
We are seeking experienced and passionate professionals to join our **Quality and Safeguarding Team** as **Independent Inspectors**. This consultancy role involves undertaking inspections of children’s homes in line with the **Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015** and associated Quality Standards.

As an Independent Inspector, you will provide objective, evidence-based assessments of residential settings, ensuring that children and young people receive safe, nurturing, and high-quality care. Your insights will contribute to continuous improvement and safeguarding excellence across the sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct independent inspections of children’s homes in accordance with statutory regulations and best practice.
- Evaluate the quality of care, safeguarding arrangements, leadership, and management.
- Produce clear, concise, and professional reports with actionable recommendations.
- Liaise with providers and stakeholders to support improvement and compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience in managing or leading children’s residential homes.
- In-depth knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience working with or for Ofsted, or conducting regulatory inspections.
- Relevant qualifications in social care, education, or safeguarding.
