**Cambridge Regional College **have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Learning Lecturer with a focus on Creative Industries to join our team at our Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a Part Time (up to 22 hours per week) Fixed term basis to cover maternity up to September 2025 and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between **£16,306.75 - 24,003.18 (Full time equivalent £27,425 - £40,369) per annum, plus staff benefits.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Course Team Leadership**:
- Act as course team lead and tutor for a group of students with moderate entry-level learning needs.
- Lead the Introduction to Creative Industries course.
- **Curriculum Design**:
- Design schemes of work, learning resources, and assessment schedules to capture RARPA outcomes and accredited qualifications.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Support internal Quality Assurance processes and prepare accredited work for sampling in adherence to deadlines.
- **Teaching English and Maths**:
- Teach English and maths at Entry and Level 1, including preparing students for functional skills qualifications.
- **Identify Learning Support Needs**:
- Assess and address students' learning disabilities.
- Monitor student welfare and make necessary referrals to student services.
- Implement further English and maths interventions, addressing barriers to learning such as ADHD, ASC, and Asperger’s.
- **EHCP Tracking**:
- Track and monitor students' EHCP targets in line with RARPA processes.
- **Collaborative Material Preparation**:
- Prepare and adapt learning materials with mentoring staff to ensure all learners make good progress.
- **LSM Direction**:
- Direct Learning Support Mentors to ensure impactful and rapid learning progress.
- **Student Support and Liaison**:
- Conduct regular tutorial meetings, liaise with parents, carers, key workers, and Local Authority professionals.
- Track and record intervention strategies from specialists and support mentors in implementing these strategies.
- **Training**:
- Undertake Proact-SCIP and first aid training for the Supported Learning Department.
- **Report Writing**:
- Produce written reports to support EHCP meetings.
- **Colleague Support**:
- Participate in the cover rota to support colleagues during absences or training periods.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with learning disabilities
- Proficiency in teaching English and maths at Entry and Level 1
- Understanding of RARPA processes and EHCP targets
