**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Head of Travel Operations**
**Salary: circa £55,000 p.a. DOE + Bonus**
**Location: Chiswick, London**

** Must have experience in Travel Team Leadership **

**Main duties**:
To manage the Travel Operations Executives across the company and provide training and guidance.

**The Role**:

- To provide direct day-to-day management of the travel operations team across the company
- To provide training, support and guidance to the team where needed
- To set and monitor KPI’s for the operations team and adjust accordingly
- To manage and deal with escalated enquiries from clients in a timely manner
- To monitor and give feedback on areas of improvement/areas of success within the team
- To be aware of cultural differences within a team and react sensitively
- To be aware of important changes in the travel market and communicate course of action to the team
- To report to the Directors of the company

**CANDIDATE'S PROFILE**
**- Experience in a Destination Management Company - Essential**
- **Experience in People Management/Team Leadership - Essential**:

- Excellent communication skills with knowledge of cultural differences
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Ability to lead a team effectively and make decisions appropriately
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- IT literate

**SALARY**

**Circa £55,000 p.a. DOE + Bonus**
