BS Social Care are currently looking for experience children support worker who can work in a Play centre / Day centre and have experience with children between 6 to 12yrs who have been diagnosis with multiple learning disability known as (PMLD) and thethe young children can also be challenging,
**LOCATION & CLIENT**
The job is based in Central London post code (WC1X), Offer practical and emotional support to the young children with learning disability that they can enter adulthood with the confidence they need to achieve their full potential.
**YOUR ROLE**
You will be playing an important role in providing excellent support and care for the young children. Your daily tasks as a children support worker will include personal care, assisting with service users who are struggling with behavioural disorder issues,and its triggers. It is important for you to be able to pay close attention to your surroundings communicating and liaising with service users' family and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
**DUTIES/TASK**
Domestic duties/tasks
Promoting and ensuring privacy and dignity
Understanding their communication needs and adapting your communication to each individual, e.g. sounds, tones, body language.
Providing emotional support to individuals, Ensuring their voices are heard, and campaigning to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
**PAY AND BENEFITS**
£11.50 to £12.00 Per Hour

**REQUIREMENTS**
Need to have recent care experience especially with young children from the age of 6 to 12 in a Day Centre.
Need right to work in the UK
Need to have a good level of English and be able to communicate
A warm and personable nature with the ability to work with patience and understanding.
DBS on update service or willing to do one which will cost £44
