**Job description**

Nella Cutlery Services are currently looking for a Customer Service Adviser / Credit controller to start in a full-time role within our close-knit customer service /accounts team. This is a varied and exciting opportunity which will suit someone with strong customer service skills and previous experience working in a reception or office type environment.

Nella Cutlery is a family run business established over 120 years ago in 1901, the company provides a bespoke specialist knife sharpening service, chopping board resurfacing service and catering equipment to professional businesses of all sizes, we are the premier company in our field and proud suppliers to a consistently expanding customer base.

**Title**: Customer Service Adviser / Credit controller
**Location**: Orpington, Greater London
**Pay**:£29,120 rising after successful completion of your probationary period.
**Hours**: Full Time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5pm)

**Duties include**:

- Responding to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Liaising across departments to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth customer orders
- Updating customer information in the company database
- Taking customer orders
- Setting up new customers and up-selling where possible
- Providing information about new and existing products and services
- Tracking and processing new orders
- Making sales and processing payments, when necessary
- Performing general administrative tasks as necessary
- Credit Control - Chasing outstanding balances
- Monthly invoicing
- Liaising with key management across departments

**Experience**:

- Experience of working within an office-based customer service or telesales background would be strongly beneficial
- A proven track record of working efficiently and accurately with strong attention to detail
- A background in Customer Service / Credit controller would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
- Strong IT and computer skills including Microsoft office
- An excellent telephone manner
