**Job Title**:Head of Fleet

**Location**:Working from home with some travel to Birmingham and London

**Salary**: up to £75,000 dependent on experience

**Working Hours**:40 hours per week Monday - Friday

**About elmo**

elmo is an all-inclusive electric car subscription service on a mission to make switching to an electric car easy.

Customers can book online in 5 minutes, get verified in 24 hours and have an electric car delivered to their door after 4 working days. Unlike a traditional lease, with elmo, there’s no deposit to pay and customers can hand back the car whenever they like with 30 days' notice. Drivers get all the benefits of owning an EV, without the hassle.

With an ever-expanding fleet of 100% electric vehicles, one monthly payment covers insurance, maintenance, servicing, breakdown cover, road tax and a carbon offset donation (to account for manufacturing emissions) as standard. There’s the option to customise with various charging options selected by elmo’s experts too.

**Purpose of the role**:
To manage and control all elements of fleet related activity, including pricing and risk, new and used vehicle acquisition and defleet processes. Liaise with all OEM’s (and applicable dealer groups) to source new stock in line with projected fleet growth targets. Keep up to date with new and evolving electric vehicle technology, including new OEM / vehicle entrants to the UK market. Minimise residual value risk by optimising the defleet cycle of each vehicle as well as maximising remarketing sales values.

**What you'll be accountable for**:

- Build a market leading fleet profile which supports the growth aspirations of the business in the UK, i.e. to be the market leading EV subscription business by market share
- Provide market landscape insight on pricing points to ensure Elmo are at the forefront of competitive subscription pricing
- Liaise with all vehicle supply chain partners (OEM’s and dealer groups) to manage vehicle specifications, ordering, lead times and payment
- Establish a pricing position for vehicle specific service, maintenance and repair costs - collaborating with the finance team to ensure adequate reserve setting is in place
- Residual Value setting and risk management - optimising de-fleet timing - working in close collaboration with the Fleet Operations team
- Establish suitable service delivery standards (SLA’s / KPI’s) and business processes

What we want from you:

- High level of related industry experience (particularly fleet acquisition / remarketing)
- Pricing (inc. RV and SMR) experience within similar industry (e.g. leasing, rental, dealer)
- The ability to influence and negotiate
- Good industry and product knowledge
- Focus on service delivery and performance measurement
- Fully mobile with current driving licence
