**Job Overview**:As a Production Operative specializing in liquid filling for jerry cans from an automated machine, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately operate the automated filling machine to ensure the timely production of high-quality liquid-filled jerry cans. The role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong focus on safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Operate Automated Filling Machine**: Safely and proficiently set up, monitor, and control the automated filling machine to accurately fill liquid into jerry cans, ensuring proper volume and consistency.

**Quality Assurance**: Perform regular quality checks to ensure that the filled jerry cans meet the required standards, including checking for leaks, proper seals, and accurate filling levels.

**Machine Maintenance**: Conduct routine maintenance tasks on the automated filling machine, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs, to ensure its optimal functioning.

**Inventory Management**: Monitor and record the usage of liquid materials and maintain an accurate inventory count to facilitate smooth production runs.

**Safety Compliance**: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

**Process Improvement**: Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes that enhance productivity and product quality.

**Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive records of production data, including output quantities, downtime, and any issues encountered during the production process.

**Teamwork**: Cooperate with fellow team members and communicate effectively to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.

**Health and Hygiene Standards**: Follow proper sanitation procedures, including personal hygiene and clean workspace practices, to ensure product integrity and compliance with health regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.90 per hour
