Trainee Estimator

**Job Purpose**: Respond to "GRP" Glass-reinforced plastic enquiries, primarily to the national housebuilders. Key Accountabilities: Produce accurate take-offs from drawings and bills of quantities, download relevant documents from a variety of portals and source quotation support material (drawings / literature / technical specs) when necessary to produce detailed quotations from a range of over 3000 standard products. Upsell and promote benefits and values of the market leaders BBA certified products over competitors. Calculate customer’s requirements individually, adjust product costs depending on quantity and location, introduce haulage, expedited manufacture and delivery charges to maximise turnover. Negotiate contracts with national house builders and tenders for local authorities. Prioritise workload and work independently, concurrently and accurately on multiple projects Key Experiences and Skills Required: Computer literate Excellent attention to detail Good Telephone manor Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required: Any exposure to the construction industry would be advantageous
