**Job description**
Support workers - variable hours contract on an adhoc bases at various locations throughout the North East.
The role is to support young people move from care to independent living.
It is likely you will be dealing situations that include some or all of the following: - challenging behaviour, substance misuse and mental health.
To be considered individuals must have
Relative experience of dealing with the aforementioned situations on an individual basis, preferably with children and young people.
IT Confidence - the role will involved considerably use of technology in the day to day reporting, receiving instruction and job training. Guidance will be given however individuals MUST be computer confident
Additional training will be given
**Qualifications**:
Have or willing to completed Level 3 health and social care
Key personal requirements
Drive with enthusiasm - Strength to continue when things get tough
Positivity - The ability to see and focus on the positive rather than dwell on the negative
Work as part of a team
Each shift will include sleeping in
**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
COVID-19 policy and procedures in place. PPE equipment provided.
**Experience**:
