We are actively recruiting Healthcare Assistants on the bank for our services below:

- NE Locality team MH (North East Community

Many of EPUT bank staff go on to secure substantive roles within the Trust whilst our substantive employees work additional bank shifts and go on to choose to stay working on the Trust bank after retirement.

If you have at least 6 months experience working as a HCA and a good level of compassion, then we could have the perfect job for you

If you meet the criteria for the role, you will be invited to an interview which will take place via MS Teams.

Please be advised that you will need the correct Right to work in the UK for this role and we are unable to provide you with a certificate of sponsorship if required.

You will need a good level of communication skills, be a team player and provide high standards of care to patients. Please note as this is a community role you will be required to have a full UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle that you can use for business.

Working on the EPUT bank allows you to gain experience and skills whilst also having the flexibility to work the shifts and placements that fit around you and your commitments.

You will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of patient centred care under the supervision of a senior member of the team; providing practical support to service users in performing day to day activities, guidance and education, and in assisting in their management and care based upon individual needs under the guidance of a senior member
of the Team.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services; providing a 7-day a week, 24-hours a day service for 365 days a year, working shifts where appropriate and operationally required.

In delivering your duties you are expected to display behaviours that are aligned with the Trust values and as required in accordance with the NHS Constitution at all times.
