Relief Cook

In our Relief Cook role, you’ll be helping to improve the lives of those in our care by providing a high-quality food preparation service considering.

**Location**: Ashley Court - Lincoln
**Salary**:£12.60 per hour

**Contract**: Relief

**Your week**: 7-hour Relief shifts as required

**Snapshot of your role**

This is what your day will look like as our Relief Cook:

- Prepare and cook food safely in the most methodical, practical and economical method possible.
- Assist with the preparation of a 28-day menu programme in order to provide meals in a most economical, wholesome and nutritious manner possible.
- Receive and check the delivery of stock as necessary and to maintain such other administrative records that are necessary in order to run an efficient, economical and productive kitchen area.

**Your toolkit for success**

To thrive in our Relief Cook role, you’ll need:

- Experience in the provision of a catering service to customers in a similar environment including menu planning and portion control.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.
- The ability to cater for specific dietary needs.
