Edge Transport are looking to recruit a **HGV Class 1 Tramper**to join our busy general haulage team.

48 contracted hours per week plus night allowance of £26.00. We would envisage 2-4 nights out per week however these cannot be guaranteed.

Hours are managed over the reference period and any excess hours will be paid at the standard rate.

You'll be driving one of our well maintained vehicles, all of which are under 5 years old.

You’ll also be eligible for:

**Duties overview**:

- Completion of regular vehicle, loading and safety checks.
- Delivering to businesses and private addresses.
- Acting professionally and safely at all times whilst out on the road representing Edge.
- Achieve target fuel efficiency and manifest route timescales.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment - on the road and within the warehouse.
- Keeping allocated vehicle and trailer clean.
- Act responsibly to ensure food product quality, safety, and legality.
- Report any issues of damage, defects, near misses and non-conformances.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Tachograph regulations.
