We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Sourcing Placement Student to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Corporate/CBS Business segment in UK, Darlington or Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Ensure our suppliers continue to provide the best quality and value
- Liaising with a range of suppliers across the globe.
- Invite new suppliers to bid and review the bid process.
- Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
- Process engineering releases to take the appropriate purchasing actions.
- Support Cummins in ensuring we stay competitive.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- IT Skills. Customer facing & customer support experience would be a plus.
- Communication skills, Positive attitude, strong personal motivation
- Team player, able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with project’s needs.
