**Volunteer Drivers Mate**

**Location: Wolverhampton**

Did you know in our Retail stores we have to process over 24,000 units of stock each week to ensure our stores generate income for Compton Care to provide the high quality, accessible care and support for the people living in our community with life limiting conditions.

If you would like to support us in generating essential income alongside our main drivers for your Compton shops, but don’t fancy working out on the shop floor then this may be the role for you

We are looking for volunteers to join us to help our drivers to deliver stock and supplies to our shop across Dudley and Wolverhampton Boroughs. As part of our valued team of volunteers you will be involved in the following tasks
- Loading and unloading the vans
- Taking stock from our Central Sort out to our shops
- Collecting furniture

Whilst this is a voluntary role and not paid, benefits include:

- Gain experience working in a team environment and meeting other friendly volunteers
- Recognition for long service and references if moving on to employment.
- Being rewarded with the knowledge that your time and effort will contribute towards patient care both in the community and at our specialist IPU at Compton Hall

In this role, we are looking for dedicated volunteers to help any time Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm, whether you are looking to volunteer for a day or more, we would love to hear from you.
