Environmental Apprentice

We're looking for an Environmental Apprentice to join our Transportation SE region environment team based in Winchester, Hampshire, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship as an Environmental Technician.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

**Contract**: Permanent

**Salary**: £16,000 per annum

**How does an apprenticeship work?**

As an Environmental Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship as a Safety, Health and Environmental Technician, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the SE region environment team to assist in all aspects of environmental management and sustainability across the region..

Your day to day will include:

- Assisting with general environmental management duties
- Carrying out environmental inspections both at depots and for works, maintaining the inspection programme
- Contributing to environmental awareness training
- Collating data relating to carbon reporting to share with National Highways, Kier Transportation and Kier Group.
