Tremendous opportunity to work on an entirely remote basis for a full service law firm with an office based in Manchester and an excellent reputation. This firm have a requirement for a Law Costs Draftsman to undertake a mix of high value costs ligation,costs budgeting, appeals, and technical challenges. Primarily you will be working on high value Clinical Negligence & Civil Costs costs but you will also gain exposure to other work such as Family & Commercial.
You will need to have gained at least 2 years' within a law costs role and have the ability to deal with costs negotiation, drafting bills, conducting detailed assessment hearings and have costs budgeting & precedent H experience.
You will be forming part of a strong team that works across the UK and will be working closely with the Head of Department who will also provide you with any training / mentoring you may need. Your role will develop into dealing with more complex work and alsowill move into dealing with advocacy too.
This role will suit someone looking to move into a strong practice and build a career dealing with a high quality of work at a top tier firm. Salary will be based on experience but will likely range from £35k - £45k with a comprehensive benefits package andbonus scheme also included.
