Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor in the UK are currently offering an interesting opportunity for a Planning Consultant / P6 Planner to join them on an exciting portfolio of multi-discipline projects based in Surrey. With almost 3,500 people employed across the UK, the company is one of the leading Infrastructure contractors working in the market today and have an excellent track record of delivering world class Civil Engineering projects.

**The Role**

This position is predominantly home based with approx. one week of site visits per month. As a skilled and experienced P6 Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a multi-disciplinary Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Programme of works for a portfolio of wastewater projects within a large programme, each project ranging from £5M-£25 in value. In this position you will be required to liaise with all disciplines and the delivery team to compile project information and develop and update cost loaded and resourced programmes. You will be responsible for tracking all changes or potential changes and provide regular progress reports, playing a pivotal role in shaping the success of the programme which ultimately serves to improve the quality of our water infrastructure.

**About you**

The ideal P6 Planner for this position will have experience working on multi-discipline Engineering / Construction projects within the water sector, with a solid background in either Engineering/Construction or Project Controls. The client would also be open to P6 Planners from similar industries including heavy civils and M&E such as Power, EfW and Oil & Gas.

It is vital that you have experience creating, developing, managing and updating programmes using Primavera P6 as you will be expected to build them out from the first principle.
