This team is part of the Systematic Trading Strategy (STS) team. The team develops systematic and client led investment strategies for their clients.
Our client is looking for someone to join the Equities STS Strats team, with a specialization on the platform. This is a platform they started last year, which gives their clients the ability to allocate their holdings among various asset classes: single stocks,futures, options, indices etc.

This is a key front-office role responsible for developing and maintaining the platforms' strategies. You would work closely with products developers, sales, trading and fellow strats to develop and implement a robust platform which can accommodate hundredsof bespoke indices.

The role will cover the full spectrum of index development and support, including implementation in the front-office modelling system, index methodology documentation, product development, parameter analysis and robustness testing, integration into front-officepricing and risk models, ongoing support for production indices and risk systems, and working with the relevant sales and trading teams on marketing and risk management.

**Requirements**:

- Strong academic background in a quantitative or technical discipline.
- Advanced coding and software design skills in any recognized programming language e.g. Python, Java, C++.
- Understanding of basic financial math concepts, e.g. Black Scholes pricing and strong interest in finance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, demonstrating initiative and showing commercial impact

**Additional Requirements**:

- Experience within Equities, specifically single stocks.
- Experience implementing or developing systematic strategies.
- Experience developing and supporting risk systems.
