Sci-Tech part of the Cawood group are looking for a Laboratory Assistant on a full time, permanent basis based at our site in Craven Arms, working day shifts - Tuesday - Saturday.

Job Purpose

To support the laboratory in the preparation and analysis of samples in accordance with the Quality Management System.

Other duties
- Assist with or perform analysis, using good laboratory practise and aseptic technique
- Undertake any tasks within the laboratory appropriate to level of training
- Receive deliveries and organising stock
- Maintain the working environment in a clean and tidy manner
- Set up and maintain equipment
- Ensure samples received are handled in accordance with documented procedures, including attention to temperature control, storage and maintenance of sample integrity
- Maintain accurate records as detailed in the quality procedures
- Uphold and maintain client and company confidentiality

Key Requirements:

- Strong organisational skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise under pressure.
- Act with Integrity at all times

**Salary**: From £21,392.00 per year
