A supportive **SEN school in Brent** is looking for a **Special Needs Teaching (SEN TA)**to join their welcoming setting from September. As a **Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)** you will be working in the classroom to support during lessons, maintain engagement and promote pupil’s independence. Pupils will have needsinclusive of **autism (ASD), global delay (GD), and speech, language, and communication (SLCN)**. Some pupils in the class will be non-verbal and engage well with PECs, visual timetables and sensory approaches, so experience is desirable, butnot essential.
- £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

The successful** Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)**will:

- Have a positive attitude and dedication to provide the best care for SEN pupils
- Have good SEN experience, especially of **autism (ASD), global delay (GD), and speech, language, and communication (SLCN) needs**:

- Have experience using PECs and sensory approaches
- Enjoy working in a team
- Quickly adapt to different classroom situations
- Have a valid Enhanced DBS
