**Accounts Assistant - Maternity cover (9 months) - Full Time**
- Ballymoney area - office based
- 34 hours per week (flexibility on working hours)
- £12.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Immediate start available
**Your focus will be to process sales ledger, complete bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and assist the accountant with month end tasks. Duties will include**:
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes on Sage and updating master spreadsheets
- Allocating customer receipts and dealing with account queries
- Producing Aged Debt reports
- Posting supplier payments and employee expenses
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns & CIS returns
- Updating monthly cost and revenue information for managers
- Analysing employee timesheets
**Criteria**
- 5+ GCSEs, including Maths and English
- 2 years’ experience of working in a similar accounts role
- Proficient in Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
