**Hybrid**:Office and home working**. **A minimum of 3 days a week working in our Head Office, Sheffield, S35 2PW. Employees are able to utilise our office facilities more should they wish to. This can vary depending upon work requirements. We offer free onsite parking.

**We are looking for a motivated Category Specialist who will have responsibility for Tender compilation and Contract Negotiations on a number of Goods and Services.**

**Here's what you can expect to be doing**
You will provide expert support to all B Braun companies and sites, within the UK, in relation to negotiating and implementing contracts for goods and services, within the Procurement Department and to identify an implement contract and Procurement process improvements throughout the business.

**Your main responsibilities would be**:

- Review expiring contracts in line with the needs and requirements of the business through Tender / RFQ / Benchmarking / Extension / Negotiation. To include all aspects of the Procurement Function.
- Work with internal stakeholder to obtain / negotiate contracts that are suitable for our business needs and along with the stakeholder be one of the decision makers for contract award and present these decision to the business (at various levels)
- Implement, monitor and manage live contracts in relation to designated categories, conduct regular review meetings with vendors, ensure that contracts are running correctly and progressing along with the business needs and that all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Monitor and record savings and added value in accordance with reporting deadlines and ensure that they are saved and uploaded in the designated files.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Experience within tender compilation, negotiation and ‘best’ procurement practices
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead cross functional project teams
- An excellent communicator at all levels
- Proactive and self motivated
- Accurate, analytical and methodical with good attention to detail
- Experience of contract drafting, reading terms and conditions, and understanding of the legal aspects of purchasing.
