Job Introduction
The Ukrainian Service is one of 42 language services in the BBC World Service. It has a multiplatform website and a large amount of video, interactive and audio content. Most of the team are located in Kyiv, with a few Journalists in London.

The service’s output aims to make international news relevant to the Ukrainian audience, and bring international perspectives to bear on Ukrainian developments. It aims to report in a lively and engaging fashion, and interactivity forms a large part of its content across all platforms.

Main Responsibilities
The Journalist will use their editorial judgement, creativity and flair to make original and compelling multimedia content. You will work alongside TV, social media and multimedia news teams to originate and produce news content for the Ukrainian service.

Other duties will include:

- Working with graphic designers to produce creative and original graphics sequences
- Offer ideas for daily output and future diary events
- Maintain professional journalistic standards of accuracy, impartiality and fair dealing and adhering to the BBC’s Editorial guidelines.
