**The position**: By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:
**Project Phase**
- Support development of UK Performance Standards for subsea systems, liaising with local UK Verification Engineer, Independent Verification Body and UK Regulatory where applicable.
- Act as the Company responsible for Rosebank Subsea Operations Systems Contract and review/accept SURF system and operations manuals.
- Support transition of Rosebank Pre-Operations into Operations phase. Develop initial Operational Support Plan and budget for SURF Interventions.
- Provide specialist support to SURF organisation during commissioning of subsea systems and identify and manage SURF risks to operational performance.

**Operational Phase**
- Uphold the Technical Authority role for Subsea. Responsible for assessing the functions and condition of the Performance Standards relating to the Subsea discipline.
- Follow up and assurance of technical requirements, legislation, functionality, and PS impairments within the assigned area of responsibility for the Rosebank field.
- Provide competent technical advice and guidance to offshore and onshore personnel with respect to the performance of SECEs (safety and environmentally critical elements) and/or assurance activities related to the subsea discipline, e.g. through Operational Risk Assessments (ORAs). Provide competent technical advice and support for continued operation of business-critical equipment and/or assurance activities related to the subsea discipline.
- Represent Equinor as required, in all external stakeholder engagements relating to subsea matters including interface towards regulatory bodies.
- Provide discipline input to Management of Change process, in coordination with other technical system authorities. Preparation and participation in relevant verifications (e.g. safety case, verification scheme).
- Act as the focal point for the Global Operational Technology Subsea unit in the UK, providing input into the Vessel Pool plan (for inspection activities, IMR coordination).
- Be responsible for planning, follow up and improvement of subsea maintenance, subsea cost prognosis and cost follow up towards business entity, where you will also support capital value projects such as Rosebank phase 2 project.

- Degree qualified engineer in Subsea, Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation. Chartered Engineer also preferred. Extensive experience in Subsea Operation & Maintenance required. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant UK Regulations related to Offshore Operations Possess the ability to handle responsibility and occasional high workload.
- Broad experience with subsea facilities in operation phase or project phase with desire to collaborate within multidisciplned teams.
- Excellent comminication skills both written and verbal in English and be willing to make occasional trips offshore UK and business trips to Norway.
