Multi Trade Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Multi Trade** **Operative** to join our Hire team in Merseyside

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be carrying out all tasks necessary to refurbish and fit out the complete range of our buildings to the highest possible standards. Also, you will be responsible for assembling and installing manufactured components to agreed design specification and tolerance. This includes the safe handling, moving, installing and finishing to specification and within deadlines under the guidance of a line manager.

Your working pattern will be 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30 and finishing early on Friday at 15:30 (inclusive of lunch breaks).

**Role Details**
- Hourly Rate**:£14.85ph plus merit rate from £0.25ph up to £4.38ph**:

- Role based: Merseyside
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave: 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

**Role Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to encourage and maintain zero harm environment and culture,
- Carry out basic joinery tasks inclusive of partition walls, doors, windows etc,
- Carry out basic plumbing tasks inclusive of sink and toilet assembly, waste and drainage, copper and push fit fittings etc confirming drawing details,
- Undertake basic electrics inclusive of installing trunking and cable runs ,sockets, heaters, lighting etc, supporting in the preparation and first fix, under the supervision of an electrician,
- Prepare units for safe transport,
- Install / Dismantle buildings e.g. connections to utilities, staircases, linkways following the supplied lift plan to move the building onto or off transport,
- Support craning in/out of buildings,
- Attend rectifications at client sites, interacting with our customers in a professional manner.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Strong skill in establishing good relationships with customers and staff, building effective networks,
- Ability to follow procedures and policies,
- Ability and experience in Accepting and tackling demanding goals with enthusiasm,
- Good level of numeracy/literacy,
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent grade),
- CPCS Slinger Signaller is desirable,
- Full UK Driving Licence,
- NVQ Level 2 Trade Qualification is desirable.
